Anchor Plumbing & Gas | FAQ Question 1: What's your usual arrival time after I've called you? The first available plumber after we receive the phone call, however emergency plumbing will take top priority. Question 2: Do you give accounts if I can’t pay you for emergency services straight away?
Residential is cash on delivery; however we will allow 7 days if we have to send you an invoice. Question 3: How long does it take to replace my hot water system?
Approx 4 – 6 hours, however every job is different. Question 4: Does your company have the appropriate insurance required?
Yes we are fully covered. Question 5: What if I work and am unable to be home when you call?
You can arrange for someone else to be there, or allow the tradesman to carry out the work in your absence. Question 6: How do you receive payment?
We accept credit cards, cheques, cash and eftpos. Question 7: Are you appropriately licensed and qualified?
Yes all our qualified tradesmen are licensed, OH&S compliant and police cleared. Question 8: Do you complete renovations of kitchens and bathrooms?
Yes small or large. Question 9: How long does the re-piping process take for an average home?
Depending upon the construction type of the home and the number of fixtures, the average home can usually be completed the same day. Question 10: Will we be living in a mess while your team are doing the work?
Our policy is to make sure everything is cleaned up at the end of each day and all the fixtures in the house are back in working order. We will do everything possible so as to not disrupt your normal routine. Question 11: Is it necessary to turn the water off to the entire house during this process?
Yes, we would turn off the water to all the fixtures in the house to avoid any possible chance of water damage. Question 12: I am curious about what is going on in my house, will I have my questions answered?
Our staff will do everything possible to answer your questions about what they are doing and the reasons why. We pride ourselves in knowing what process we will follow to keep all customers happy. Question 13: What do I need to do to prepare for you to do the work?
All you should have to do is clear areas where the tradesman will be working and move any fragile pieces of furniture, we do have respect for your property and will do everything possible to protect your home. Question 14: What if this work you are performing requires a permit?
If a special permit is required for work to be carried out, we can arrange that with local councils. Question 15: Can you give us a firm start and completion date?
We will try our best to give as much information on start and completion dates, and attempt to keep to those deadlines, however depending on the size of the job and what is involved could effect the dates slightly. Question 16: Do you offer any type of warranty and if so what does it cost?
We offer a warranty on all labour, we endeavour to do the job right first time, individual products come with specific manufacturer’s warranties.
